April 16, 2008 by Anne Gitte Rugaard Visit Date:April 6, 2008 "A nice resort. A little deserted though and far from Chiang Mai to the wrong side. Very friendly staff. The internet connection was not very good. We went on to Belle Villa in Pai and we can really recommend that resort. Very nice cottages and green grass with swings for kids and nice view. The breakfast and coffee was good. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
No problems, April 16, 2008 by Robert W Edwards Visit Date:April 1, 2008 "This hotel is a long way out of Chiang Mai, so if you need to do any shopping and eat cheaply it takes 40 minutes to reach Chiang Mai by taxi at a cost of 600 bht. Staff friendly and helpful. " |
Website is user-friendly even for first timers. The hotel listing is very extensive. I am thankful and impressed with the flexibility when I had to postpone my trip due to an emergency back home. Impressive!, October 19, 2007 by Gracy Khoo Visit Date:October 10, 2007 "The hotel was awesome. My friends and I were offered free upgrade to the Deluxe rooms as we were there during the non-peak wet season. Besides elegant fittings, the landscaping was amazing. The hotel offers many room types with different views and you can surely find one suitable for your need. Breakfast was good but tours were a bit too costly. Above all, the stay was great as staff were friendly and service-oriented. The Executive Assistant Manager was so thoughtful so I promised her we will return very soon. A wonderful retreat. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
Convinient and prompt, August 17, 2007 by Chithra Kannappan Visit Date:August 10, 2007 "It was a combined family holiday so we booked the Villa with 3 bedrooms. What a beautiful house! Spacious yet cosy, right beside the pool with splendid views of the mountains. Belle Villa is a good 50mins-1hour away from Chiang Mai city and 40mins from the airport. The road to the resort is windy but the scenery is beautiful. We stayed 2 nights in Chiang mai city and 2 nights in the mountains, plus we had our own transport to get around - so it was just perfect. The breakfast spread was ample and dining against a backdrop of lush green mountains was better still. There are mozzies around the resort but mozzie wipes were available in the rooms. The massage was great and so was the live music in the evenings. A very calm and relaxing atmosphere away from it all. Suggest buying drinks and snacks back from your day-trips out as nothing much availbale on site. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
August 10, 2007 by Denise Mckenzie Visit Date:July 25, 2007 "A lovely resort in a remote hillside area 29km from central Chaing Mai so you need a car. 2 bed family suite was lovely but lacked kitchen equipment and utensils. Only one restaurant so no choice - staff were friendly but VERY slow. 2 lovely pools but the one near the restaurant was closed for the entire week for cleaning and the other pool was located in another part of the resort and did not have cafe/bar facility, also with 2 children they could not go unattended. A beautiful resort but not really enough for children to do - ours were very bored there! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
